Genesis Women’s Support Circle

Many women describe their struggle with fertility as an emotional roller coaster that affects every area of life. To help you navigate this challenging journey we are introducing the Genesis Women’s Support Circle facilitated by fertility counselor Chandra Sen and Genesis nurse Paula Anderson.
The Support Circle is a casual gathering at Genesis Fertility Centre where you can:
> Connect and share with other women going through an experience like yours
> Learn some techniques to help you manage stress and make you feel more in control of your fertility journey
If you are interested in attending the Support Circle at Genesis, you must send us an email request to supportgroup@genesis-fertility.com to participate. Space is limited to 12 participants (please, no drop ins).

September 14, 2011: In September we discussed how the path of infertility effects our daily lives. We discussed ways to cope and feel less isolated. We also reviewed some breathing techniques that provide immediate relaxation and stress relief. There was also some laughter and tears as we discuss issues that everyone shares.
June’s Genesis Women’s Support Circle
June 8, 2011: In June, we featured Fertility Nutritionist Sarah Ware, founder of Nutrition Fits Consulting. Sarah is a registered dietitian specializing in fertility. She will talk about eating for fertility, as well as dealing with specific issues like weight management and PCOS.

Every 3rd or 4th gathering we feature a speaker on topics of interest that the group has identified like nutrition, meditation, or specific medical issues.
